Raytheon Network Centric Systems in Fort Wayne will get about 10 percent of the work on a $42-million, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research supporting the jammer that will replace the ALQ-99 Tactical jamming system.
The research will support future development of airborne electronic attack capability from a tactical-size airborne stand-off/mod-escort platform.
The Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, Md. expects the work to be completed in April, 2012.
